Softball To Host Alumni Night on October 28

TEMPE, Ariz. -

The new era of Sun Devil softball under new Head Coach Clint Myers gets underway on Friday, October 28th, as the Softball program hosts Alumni Night at Farrington Stadium. Coach Myers would like to invite all former Softball players to get re-acquainted with the Arizona State Softball program, and help to renew the excitement of Sun Devil Softball. Fans are invited to get autographs and pictures with your favorite Sun Devils of the past and present.

Fans and former players are invited to Farrington Stadium beginning at 4:00 pm to get your first look at the 2006 team. Coach Myers and his entire coaching staff, including former two-time All-American Kirsten Voak, will be on hand to discuss the upcoming 2006 season. Admission is free for Alumni Night festivities.

The Alumni will also be invited to take a tour of the new and improved Farrington Stadium, one of the finest softball facilities in the United States. Fans are encouraged to tour Farrington Stadium before any of the three softball events taking place throughout the month of October. Fans can tour Farrington on October 14th at 4:30 pm, October 15th at 4:30 pm, October 16th at 11:30 am, October 19th at 2:30 pm, and October 25th at 1:30 pm.

Fans are also invited to attend any Sun Devil practice in the month of October. Beginning October 17th, softball practices at Farrington Stadium will be open to the public. Practices are scheduled daily from 2 pm to 5 pm.
