USC's Debora Seilhamer Named Pac-10 Volleyball Player of the Week

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - USC libero Debora Seilhamer has been named Pac-10 Volleyball Player of the Week for Oct. 17 - 23, Commissioner Tom Hansen announced today.
Seilhamer, a junior from Ponce, Puerto Rico, set a school record for most digs (27) in a three-game match on Friday in USC's win over Arizona State. She also recorded the 1,000th dig of her career. On Saturday, she posted 30 digs and six assists in USC's upset win over No. 8 Arizona.
Seilhamer now ranks tenth on the Women of Troy's all-time list with 1,036 digs. She currently leads the Pac-10 with 6.37 digs per game.
No. 17 USC (10-7, 6-3) will host cross-town rival, No. 22 UCLA, on Fri., Oct. 28.
This is Seilhamer's second weekly honor and USC's 37th Player of the Week honor all-time.
