ASU's 2005-06 season tips off Friday, November 5 at 6:30 p.m. at Wells Fargo Arena with an exhibition game against 'Love & Basketball', an All-Star team from Southern California. Led by tenth-year head coach Charli Turner Thorne, the Sun Devils are coming off a 24-10 season in 2004-05, highlighted by the team's trip to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament, the farthest the team has advanced in the NCAA Tournament since 1983. The Sun Devils have made a school-record six consecutive postseason appearances, and the team's 24-10 record was one victory shy of the school record, while the team's 12-6 Pac-10 Conference record tied a school record for most conference wins in a season.
