UCLA has won five straight, including its upset victory over WASHINGTON to give coach Andy Banachowski career win No. 1,000, and will join USC on the road with matches at ARIZONA and ARIZONA STATE ... The Oregon schools travel north to take on the Washington schools ... After a non-conference match against Santa Clara, CALIFORNIA heads across the Bay for a showdown with STANFORD ... Washington has clinched a share of the Pac-10 title and by virtue of the league's tiebreak procedure will receive the league's automatic berth in the NCAA Tournament. A win this weekend would clinch the Pac-10 title outright for the Huskies ... Chris McGee and Holly McPeak will call the action in this week's FSN match featuring USC at Arizona with second place in the league standings on the line ... Six Pac-10 teams remain in the AVCA Top 25 - No. 3 Washington, No. 5 Stanford, No. 6 Arizona, No. 13 California, No. 14 USC and No. 16 UCLA ... The Pac-10 owns a 74-24 (.755) record in non-conference play ... Here's this week's schedule:

STAND UP AND BE RECOGNIZED - In addition to UCLA coach Andy Banachowski earning career win No. 1,000 with the Bruins upset of No. 2 Washington, several other honors were bestowed the Pac-10 volleyball family ... Former USC coach, and current Arizona State athletics director, Lisa Love will be inducted into the 2005 class of the AVCA Hall of Fame. Love compiled an impressive 609-264 record in 17 seasons at Texas-Arlington and 10 seasons at USC ... Washington's Candace Lee and Courtney Thompson were named to the Academic All-District VIII first team, while teammate Sanja Tomasevic was a second team selection.

ARIZONA - With 1,952 career kills, senior OH Kim Glass, the school's all-time kills leader, needs 48 kills to become the fourth player in Pac-10 history to record 2,000 kills ... Glass posted a career-high 33 kills in the upset victory at No. 4 Stanford. It was Arizona's second win at Stanford in 20 matches ... Sophomore S Amy Dyck recorded career assist 1,000 in the Wildcats win at Stanford. She currently has 1,018 assists.

ARIZONA STATE - After her 37-dig performance at California, Sophomore L Sydney Donahue now has recorded the second, fourth, fifth and sixth-best dig performances in ASU history through the first 23 matches this season. Donahue has tallied 900 digs during her career and has a career average of 5.29 digs per game ... ASU will host USC and UCLA this week, the fifth and sixth consecutive ranked opponents for the Sun Devils.

CALIFORNIA - With 38 assists in the win over Arizona State, junior S Samantha Carter replaced former Golden Bear Sienna Curci as the school's all-time assists leader. Curci recorded 4,008 assists from 1989, 91-93. Carter's total stands at 4,045 and counting ... Freshman OH Morgan Beck led the Bears in kills in both wins last week as she posted 14 in the upset of Arizona and 16 in the win over Arizona State ... With 195 kills, sophomore MH Ellen Orchard needs five kills to give the Bears five players with 200 or more kills. Sophomore OH Angie Pressey leads the team with 355 kills, followed by Beck (266), senior MH Alicia Powers (229), and senior OH Jenna Brown (228).

OREGON - The victory over Portland last week gave the Ducks win No. 12 on the season. It's their most wins in a season since posting 14 victories during the 1991 season ... Freshman OH Mira Djuric posted 26 kills in the five-game loss to Oregon State. It was the third time she's record 20 or more kills this season.

OREGON STATE - Junior MBs Abby Windell and Katelyn Healy turned in a couple of career-best blocking performances with each recording 12 total blocks in the win over Oregon ... The Beavers, who entered last week's match against Oregon ranked ninth in the league in blocks at 2.48 bpg, recorded a team season-high 22 blocks (4.40 bpg) in the match ... Oregon State has achieved five victories in league play for the third consecutive season. The only other time the Beavers recorded five or more Pac-10 victories in three successive seasons was during the 1995-97 seasons.

STANFORD - Junior OH Kristin Richards has tallied 20 or more kills in six matches this season, including the last three matches ... Richards hit .333 last weekend, picking up 51 kills (6.38 kpg) in matches with Arizona and Arizona State. Along with her 22 kills against Arizona State, she added 23 digs ... Junior S Katie Goldhahn needs 98 assists to reach 2,000 for her career.

UCLA - Kudos to coach Andy Banachowski for earning career victory No. 1,000 in the Bruins upset of second-ranked Washington. His career record stands at 1,000-263 (.792). He is the first women's collegiate volleyball coach to reach 1,000 carer victories and the second collegiate coach for either gender to reach the mark, joining UCLA men's volleyball coach Al Scates (Banachowski played for Scates at UCLA as an undergrad) ... Junior MB Nana Meriwether continues to put up big blocking numbers. A week after posting a career-high 16 total blocks in UCLA's win over Oregon, she did one better by recording 17 total blocks (tied for 5th in Pac-10 history) in the upset victory over Washington ... Meriwether tallied 33 blocks (2.54 bpg) in three matches last week.

USC - Senior S Nena Siljegovic was the second setter in the Pac-10 to record her 1,000th career assist (also Arizona's Amy Dyck) when she posted 43 assists in the win over Washington State to give her 1,006 for her career ... Currently leading the Pac-10 with 6.67 dpg (520 digs), junior L Debora Seilhamer has a shot of breaking her USC single-season record of 571 digs set last season. Her 29 digs in the win over WSU set a USC record for digs in a three-game match.

WASHINGTON - The Huskies established a school record by winning its 23rd consecutive match before falling to UCLA in their 24th match of the season ... Senior OH Sanja Tomasevic is making an assault on the UW record book. She needs three aces to break the school's career record of 146 (Genne Terry, 1982-86), and eight kills to break the school mark of 1,676 (Angela Bransom, 1993-96) ... With 279 kills, senior OH Brie Hagerty needs 21 kills to give the Huskies three players with 300 or more kills this season. Tomasevic has 351 kills, while sophomore OH Christal Morrison has 326 kills.

WASHINGTON STATE - Cougar freshman L Jalen Pendon's 474 digs is the best single-season total in school history. She surpassed Kortney Jamtaas' 2002 total of 469. Pendon has had double-figure digs in 25 of WSU's 28 matches this year and had 20 or more digs 11 times ... Junior MB Jen Barcus now has 319 career block assists which moves her to seventh on the WSU career list. She needs 10 more to move into sixth with Keren Oigman (1994-97). Her 39 solo blocks and 358 total blocks remain ninth on WSU career lists.
