SEATTLE - Washington women's basketball announced its 2005-06 television schedule, Monday, a slate that includes six televised games by FSN. Two of the six contests will be broadcast to a national audience including the Huskies' home contest with Washington State (Feb. 5) and a road game at UCLA (Feb. 11).

In addition to the two national telecasts, four games will be broadcast to a regional audience on FSN Northwest. Those games include UW's home matchup with Eastern Washington, Monday, Dec. 12 at 7 p.m. and road games at Arizona State (Dec. 29, 5:30 p.m. PT), Arizona (Dec. 31, 3 p.m. PT) and Washington State (Jan. 7, 1 p.m.).

The game with Washington State in Seattle on Feb. 5 was changed from its original date of Feb. 4 to accommodate the television broadcast. It will still take place at 1 p.m. at Bank of America Arena. The Huskies' Feb. 11 meeting with UCLA is also set for 1 p.m.

Washington has the opportunity to have two more nationally televised contests, as its games versus Oregon State (Feb. 18) and at California (Feb. 25) are in FSN wildcard windows. Those selections will be made by the Pac-10 two weeks prior to the date of the game.

The Huskies open their season on the road this week, traveling to Alabama (Friday, Nov. 18, 3:30 p.m. PT) and Florida State (Sunday, Nov. 20, 11 a.m. PT).
