Women's Crew Wraps Up Fall Season

The Stanford Women's Crew finished its last weekend of fall racing with the varsity squad racing at the Head of the Lake regatta in Seattle, WA and the novice squad racing at the the Head of the Lagoon in Foster City, CA
The annual trip to Seattle for the varsity proved to be very competitive in the first and second eight races. It the Women's Championship Eight event, first place through sixth place was separated but just eight seconds over the three mile race. Stanford finished fifth with Washington State winning this event for the first time and Yale second.
The Stanford second varsity raced to a third place finish, which is the best Stanford finish in this event. Washington won the event with Washington State finishing second.
The Varsity four finished tenth overall in the Women's Championship Four event that was won by Yale University.
The Stanford Novice competed for their second time this fall and won their event by well over a minute.
