Cyndi Gallagher's No. 7 UCLA swim and dive team (5-0, 2-0 Pac-10) had an impressive showing on Friday afternoon as they defeated Arizona State 193.5-105.5 in Pac-10 dual meet action. In all, the Bruins won 12 of the 16 events contested as seniors Paige Thompson and Kim Vandenberg, and junior Katie Nelson highlighted the feat with multiple individual event wins.

'Everyone swam great today,' said Gallagher. 'We've been training so hard and to come out and swim some fast times was great. This team has so much depth and you can see it in the results today. We're just going to keep up our focus and intensity and move on to tomorrow's meet against a tough Arizona squad.'
