Arizona's Kim Glass Named Pac-10 Volleyball Player of the Week

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - Arizona outside hitter Kim Glass has been named Pac-10 Volleyball Player of the Week for Nov. 14 - 20, Commissioner Tom Hansen announced today.
Glass, a senior from Lancaster, Pa., nailed 50 kills over the weekend, becoming the first Wildcat and fourth player in Pac-10 history to record 2,000 kills. She posted a career-high 37 kills on a school-record 97 attempts in Arizona's five-game win over No. 14 USC, the first time the Wildcats have beaten the Women of Troy since 2001. Against No. 16 UCLA, Glass posted her 17th double-double of the season with 13 kills and 12 digs.
No. 6 Arizona (20-5, 12-4) will wrap up the regular season at the Oregon schools this weekend, facing the Ducks on Fri., Nov. 25 and the Beavers on Sat., Nov. 26.
This is Glass' fifth weekly honor and Arizona's 25th Player of the Week honor all-time.
