UCLA, in its quest for its first-ever national championship, is making things look easy with its fourth shutout in as many games ... The Bruins put up five unanswered goals in its game against No. 2-seeded Virginia on Fri., Nov. 25 at Drake Stadium in Los Angeles ... The team will face No. 2 seed Florida State (20-3-1), which is coming off a 5-4 penalty kick victory over top-seeded North Carolina last weekend ... The teams will square off on Fri., Dec. 2 at 6:30 p.m. CT at the Aggie Soccer Complex on the campus of Texas A&M University, televised by ESPNU ... The winner will face top-seeded Portland (22-0-1) or Penn State (23-0-1) in the championship finals on Sun., Dec. 4 at 12 Noon ... Sophomore midfielder Danesha Adams became just the second player in school history to score four goals in a game, as she put up a quartet in the 5-0 win over the Cavaliers ... Adams put up her first tally off an assist from senior forward Iris Mora in just the fourth minute of the match ... She then went on to score the Bruins' second, third and fifth goals, scoring two goals in a seven-minute span ... Adams, who now has 20 goals on the season, takes over the Pac-10 leaderboard, and is just two shy of tying the UCLA single-season record set by Traci Arkenberg (22) in 1997 ... Freshman forward Kara Lang scored the Bruins' fourth goal off assists from Mora and freshman forward Christina DiMartino ... Lang has now tallied 16 goals on the season, seven of which have come in postseason play, good enough to rank third in the Conference ... Lang, who has scored in all four NCAA matches, also has one assist to give her 15 points in the postseason ... With two assists in the match, Mora has tied her school single-season record of 14 assists, set in the 2003 campaign ... Sophomore goalkeeper Valerie Henderson is on pace to shatter the single-season goals against average with an existing mark of 0.38 through 23 matches played ... The old record of 0.44 was set by CiCi Peterson in 2000 ... UCLA set a new single-season school record for victories in a season with its 21st of the year ... The old mark was 20 set by teams in 2001 and 2003 ... The 21 wins ties the Conference record, as the 2002 Stanford squad finished the year 21-2-0.
