California wraps up the fall season with a trip to Athens, Ga. Following the Georgia Invitational, the Bears will have a break from competition until Jan. 20, when Arizona State visits Berkeley.

The Bears will face some of college swimming's top teams this weekend. The field includes No. 1 Georgia, No. 7 UCLA, No. 20 Virginia and South Carolina. Georgia is also the defending national champion. This weekend's meet will not only give Cal swimmers a chance to measure themselves against some of the nation's best, but Georgia's home pool -- the Gabrielsen Natatorium -- is the site of the 2006 NCAA Championships, giving Cal a chance to experience swimming there a few months early.

Prelims will begin each day at 9:30 a.m., with finals set for 5 p.m. EST on Friday and Saturday and 3 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is free.Results will be available on Georgia's website, Following competition each day, recaps and complete results will be posted at
