Derek Hagan Named Third Team All-American By Associated Press

TEMPE, Ariz. - Arizona State University senior wide receiver Derek Hagan has been named a Third Team All-American by the Associated Press. It is the third All-American selection for the Palmdale, Calif. native, who was also named a Third Team selection, as well as an Honorable Mention All-American by

Hagan etched his named into the school and conference record books throughout his Sun Devil career. He will leave Arizona State as the school's all-time leader in receptions, receiving yards and touchdown catches, and is the Pac-10's all-time leader in receptions. His 72 catches for 1,113 yards made him the first receiver in ASU history to record three consecutive 1,000 yard receiving seasons.

The Sun Devils will take on the Scarlet Knights of Rutgers in the Insight Bowl, December 27th at Chase Field in Phoenix. The game will be shown to a national television audience on ESPN. Kickoff is set for 6:30 pm.
