Junior Ashley Peckett also had a successful return to competition after ankle surgery in November, placing 11th on both vault (9.675) and bars (9.7).

The Bruins were the only team to break 48 on all four events, recording the meet's top event scores on vault (48.875), bars (48.55), beam (48.075) and floor (48.275).

UCLA kicked off the meet with a solid start on bars. Richardson led the team with a 9.775, and Smith and Chan each posted scores of 9.725.

Comforte led the charge on beam, scoring 9.7 in the anchor position to place second on the event overall. Chan added a 9.675 to place third, and Jalynne Dantzscher scored a 9.65 to tie for fourth.

On floor, the Bruins posted four of the Top 5 scores in the meet, with Richardson first with a 9.8, Janelle Dantzscher second with a 9.725, Smith tied for third with a 9.7 and Comforte tied for fifth with a 9.65.

The Bruins ended with a meet-high 48.875 on vault. Berlin led off with a 9.75, Chan scored a 9.775, Comforte placed third overall with a 9.825, and Richardson anchored with a meet-high 9.85.
