UCLA Ranked No. 13 in Final Coaches Poll

The UCLA football team finished the 2005 season ranked No. 13 on the USA Today/Coaches poll and No. 16 on the Associated Press poll.
In the last 24 years, UCLA has been ranked in the AP Top 25 a total of 12 times and no Pac-10 team has more Top 25 rankings during that span. USC has also been ranked in the Top 25 12 times, followed by Washington with 10, Washington State with seven, Arizona State and Oregon with six each, Arizona with five, California with four, Stanford with three and Oregon State with one.
UCLA's victory in the Vitalis Sun Bowl was also its 11th in the last 24 years. During that span, only seven schools have won more bowl games - Florida State (17), Miami and Tennessee with 13 each, and Georgia, Michigan, Alabama and Penn State with 12 wins each.
In the Pac-10, UCLA's 11 wins are two more than Washington (nine). They are followed by USC (eight), Arizona State (six), Washington State, Arizona, Oregon and California (five each), Oregon State (three) and Stanford (two).
