California Women's Indoor Track and Field Team Ranked No. 10

BERKELEY - For the first time in the history of the California women's indoor track and field program, the team was ranked in the preseason - tied for No. 10 with UCLA - by Trackwire. The Cal men were not ranked.

Last season the women's indoor squad broke eight records alone at the MPSF Championship. Two of the records broken include the 200m (broken by Shannan Hawes - 24.68) and 800m (broken by Chloe Jarvis - 2:06.65).

Eleven top 25 teams, both men and women, including Cal, will compete in this weekend's Modrall Sperling Lobo Invitational.
