Men's Tennis Remains Undefeated as They Sweep New Mexico State 7-0

Tempe, Ariz. - The Arizona State Men's Tennis Team remains undefeated in the 2006 season as they rolled to yet another 7-0 sweep against the Aggies of New Mexico State University Friday afternoon at Tempe's Whiteman Tennis Center.
The Devils again looked to be in great form as they won all but one doubles match on the day.
The Devils only faltered at one point in the entire match as they lost one doubles match to the Aggies.
ASU came back strong in singles though as they swept NMSU in all six singles matches.
Junior Nick Hegarty led off for the Devils with a decisive 6-1, 6-1 win over Tim America.
Up next for the Devils was Mike Beatty who quickly put away NMSU's Jeff Pfeifer in a 6-0, 6-2 bout.
Senior Ryan McBride was on court one again where he defeated Brice Maganou 6-3, 6-2.
Rounding up the match for the Devils were Chris Biro and Jonathan Kinsella who both won their matches 6-3, 6-3 while Freshman Wes Miller won his match after NMSU's Christian Halligan was forced to retire.
The Devils move to 2-0 on the season with matches against the University of the Pacific and UC Santa Barbera looming ahead next weekend, while the Aggies fall to 1-1 on the season after defeating NAU yesterday.
The Devils will take on Pacific on Friday and UCSB Satuday both matches with starting times of noon and at ASU's Whiteman Tennis Center.
