This Week - Washington State will host a pair of dual matches...Cougars square off against in-state rival Gonzaga Friday, Feb. 3 at 2 p.m...WSU takes on No. 55 Colorado Saturday, Feb. 4 at noon...both matches are scheduled to be played at Lewiston, Idaho.

Cougars Versus Upcoming Opponents - Cougar tennis has a lifetime record of 11-0 against the Gonzaga Bulldogs...Colorado edged the WSU in their first meeting last year, defeating the Cougars in a close 4-3 match.

Impact Early From van de Ven - WSU junior Marjolein van de Ven has been the surprise newcomer for the Cougars...leads the team in wins with 12 and remains unbeaten in dual match play...successful fall play earned her a No. 81 national ranking by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.

Notable Cougars - Junior Amy Toth has faired well for the Cougars and has yet to drop a match in dual match play this season...Toth is second on the team in wins with 11...No. 55 Ekaterina Burduli currently has a 2-1 dual record for the Cougars...Burduli has played all her matches in the No. 1 slot with her only loss coming against Brigham Young University's Olga Boulytcheva ranked No. 33.
