UCLA forward Luc Richard Mbah a Moute is quickly making a name for himself, even though many fans have difficulty pronouncing it. Mbah a Moute (pronounced Umbah-a-moo-tay) had 29 points and 18 rebounds combined in two UCLA road wins during the week to earn his spot as's National Freshman of the Week. Meanwhile, the No. 14 Bruins (17-4, 7-2 Pac-10) took sole possession of first place in the conference.

Mbah a Moute's father, Camille Moute a Bidias, is a tribal chieftain in his village in Cameroon, Bafia (Bia Messe), making Mbah a Moute a prince. It's a situation that brought plenty of questions, and then some lighthearted ribbing, from his teammates.

'It's my family,' said Mbah a Moute, who has not been home for three years. 'I'm cool. I take it pretty good.'

Now, he's becoming royalty for UCLA.
