This Week - Washington State hosts a pair of dual matches...Cougars square off against Santa Clara Friday, Feb. 10 at 4 p.m...WSU takes on No. 27 Oregon Ducks Saturday, Feb. 11 at 2 p.m....both matches are scheduled to be played at Tri-City Court Club in Kennewick, Wash.

Cougars Versus Upcoming Opponents - Cougar tennis has a lifetime record of 3-1 against the Santa Clara Broncos...Oregon leads WSU 21-16 in their series record.

Burduli Has Great Week - Sophomore Ekaterina Burduli won both matches last week against Gonzaga and Colorado...she blanked Gonzaga's Emily Anderson, 6-0, 6-0...Burduli defeated Intercollegiate Tennis Association's No. 56 Monika Milewski of Colorado, 6-4, 6-3...Burduli is currently ranked No. 59.

Notable Cougars - Juniors Amy Toth and Marjolein van de Ven both suffered their first dual match losses of the season against Colorado...both defeated their Gonzaga opponents, 6-0, 6-0...transfer van de Ven still leads the Cougars in victories with 13...freshman Aleksandra Cekic won both matches last week now she is 4-1 in dual match play.
