Andrew Felder Named to Jewish Sports Review 2005 Men's Soccer All-America Team

BERKELEY - California's Andrew Felder has been named to the Jewish Sports Review's 2005 Men's Soccer All-America First-Team.

Felder, a senior from Encino, Calif., was the only defender to earn first-team honors. During the 2005 season, he started all 21 games for the Golden Bears, while recording one assist and one point. Felder helped the Bears' defense, holding its opponents to only 13 goals all season, which ranked second in the Pac-10 conference. Cal finished the season ranked eighth in the nation with a goals-against average of 0.63.

Felder will graduate in December with a degree in mass communications and political science.

Cal finished the 2005 season with a 14-4-3 overall record, while also making its fifth-consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance and first-ever Elite Eight showing.
