Men's Golf Takes Eighth at UH Hilo Intercollegiate

The Arizona State men's golf team finished eighth overall in the 2006 UH Hilo Intercollegiate after shooting a 14-over 886.

Georgia Tech placed first in the tournament shooting a 27-under 825 as a team. Georgia Tech's Cameron Tringale won individual honors shooting a 11-under 202 (65,67,70).

Individually, Alejandro Canizares and Niklas Lemke lead the Sun Devils and tied for 23rd carding an even-par 213. Benjamin Alvarado tied for 29th after shooting a one-over 214. Charly Simon shot a 13-over 226 to tie for 84th. Lenny Park finished up shooting a 17-over 230 to tie for 98th.

Next up, the Sun Devils travel to San Juan, Puerto Rico to take part in the Puerto Rico Classic Feb. 26-28.
