Caridinal Women In 14th At Wildcat Invitational

Tucson, Ariz. - The Stanford women's golf team shot a 299 in the first round of the Arizona Invitational and are currenlty in 14th place heading into Tuesday. Duke shot a -3, 281 and currently sits atop the leader board and California is only one stroke behind with a -2, 282. USC and Arizona State are the third and fourth place teams, respectively. Auburn, UCLA and UNLV all tied for fifth place.

The tournament will continue tomorrow with the completion of the second round, which was suspended due to darkness, followed by the third and final round.

Individually the team was led by Lauren Todd who is tied for 17 with a one-over par 143 (she was able to complete two rounds) with rounds of 71 and 72. Teammate Kelly Husted shot a 75 today while Jennifer Tangtiphaiboontana carded a 73. Stanford's Stephanie Lue shot an 80 in the opening round while Ki-Shui Liao turned in an 81.
