WALNUT CREEK, CALIF. - Washington junior guard Cameo Hicks was named to the 2005-06 All-Pac-10 team for women's basketball as voted upon by the league's coaches, conference commissioner Tom Hansen announced Thursday.

It is the first All-Pac-10 team selection for Hicks, who earned All-Pac-10 honorable mention honors as a sophomore and was named to the Pac-10 All-Freshman team in 2003.

A native of Tracy, Calif., Hicks leads the Huskies in scoring (14.7 ppg) and rebounding (5.4), and is second in assists (2.5). Selected the Pac-10 Player of the Week for Dec. 19-25, Hicks has reached double-figure scoring 21 times in 26 games, including six 20-point efforts. She ranks ninth in the conference in scoring, 10th in free-throw percentage (.755), ninth in offensive rebounds (2.38), ninth in three-point field goal percentage (.363) and 10th in steals (1.65).

Stanford sophomore guard Candice Wiggins was named the 2005-06 Pac-10 Player of the Year for the second consecutive season, while California's Alexis Gray-Lawson was selected the Pac-10 Freshman of the Year. Tara Vanderveer of Stanford was named Pac-10 Coach of the Year.
