Cougar Tennis Travels to UCLA and USC

This Week - The Washington State tennis team (5-5) heads back into Pacific-10 action to face No. 16 UCLA Bruins (7-2), March 10, at 1:30 p.m. in Los Angeles...WSU will take on No. 5 USC Women of Troy (8-1), March 11, at noon in Los Angeles.

History with UCLA and USC - WSU travels to UCLA hoping to upset the Bruins, something the Cougars have not done since the 2001 season when the Cougars beat then No. 38 UCLA, 4-3...Cougars head into Saturday's match against USC looking to break a ten-game winning streak USC holds over the Cougars.

Polls - WSU enters this week's matches ranked No.'s the first time the Cougars have been ranked this season...last time the Cougars were ranked was mid April of 2005.

Cougar Success - The Cougars travel to California with three student-athletes with 14 wins or more...junior Marjolein van de Ven leads the team with 15 wins...captain Ekaterina Burduli and junior Amy Toth both have accumulated 14 wins.
