With the defeat, Cal falls to 10-4 overall and 4-1 in Pac-10 play. As Stanford continues to add numbers to their win column, their unrivaled straight-win record advances to 71 and puts them at 15-0 this season.

In doubles, Celia Durkin and Amber Liu had the greatest win margin against Cal opponents Marion Ravelojaona and Claire Ilcinkas. The Cardinal dominated the match 8-1.

During singles play, No. 15 Liu shut-down No. 9 Suzi Fodor 6-3, 6-4. Other notable Cardinal performances were made by No. 10 Anne Yelsey and No. 26 Celia Durkin who both shutout their Bear opponent within two sets.
