NCAA Open Practice Day Friday

Pepsi Center will play host to a day of open practices with the eight teams in town for the 2006 NCAA Women's Basketball Championship First and Second Rounds.  These sessions will last 50 minutes each and are free and open to the public. Parking at Pepsi Center on this day is also free, and tickets to Saturday's games will be available for purchase at the Pepsi Center box office.

Teams and practice times for the open practices are as follows:

11 - 11:50 a.m.       No. 2 Oklahoma Practice

Noon - 12:50 p.m.   No. 15 Pepperdine Practice

1 - 1:50 p.m.           No. 7 Brigham Young Practice

2 - 2:50 p.m.           No. 10 Iowa Practice

3 - 3:50 p.m.           No. 6 Florida State Practice

4 - 4:50 p.m.           No. 11 Louisiana Tech Practice

5 - 5:50 p.m.           No. 3 Stanford Practice

6 - 6:50 p.m.           No. 14 Southeast Missouri State

 

The games are Saturday, March 18 and Monday, March 20 at Pepsi Center.  There are three sessions, with two games apiece.  Teams and game times are as follows:

 

Saturday, March 18                       

SESSION I

No. 2 Oklahoma vs. No. 15 Pepperdine, 11 a.m.

No. 7 BYU vs. No. 10 Iowa, 1:30 p.m.

                                                    

SESSION II

No. 6 Florida State vs. No. 11 Louisiana Tech, 6 p.m.

No. 3 Stanford vs. No. 14 Southeast Missouri State, 8:30 p.m.

 

Monday, March 20                        

SESSION III                                                    

Winners of sessions I and II, 5 & 7:30 p.m.
