Men's Golf Completes First Two Rounds at Border Olympics

LAREDO, Texas - The Washington State men's golf team completed the first two rounds at the Border Olympics March 17. No results were reported due to a scorecard not being turned into the tournament director. The final 18 holes will take place March 18 at the par-72, 7,241 yard Laredo Country Club, with the complete results being posted on www.wsucougars.com after the final round.
Five Cougars traveled down to the Lonestar State to compete in the one of the longest running collegiate golf tournaments, the Border Olympics has now been in commission for 55 years. The 16 team field includes Arkansas-Little Rock, Baylor, Lamar, Louisiana-Lafayette, Memphis, New Mexico State, North Texas, Notre Dame, Rice, South Alabama, Southeastern Louisiana, Texas-Arlington, Texas State, University of Houston and UTEP.
