Huskies Close Out Homestand Wed. Vs. Loggers

SEATTLE - The Washington baseball team (16-7) will close out its eight-game homestand Wednesday, March 22, when Puget Sound visits Husky Ballpark for a 6:00 p.m. game. Live audio and stats from the UW-UPS game will be available here at

Freshman lefty Adrian Gomez is expected to get the start on the mound Wednesday evening for the UW. Gomez, from Battle Ground, Wash. (Prairie High) will be making his fourth appearance of the season and his second start. He also started March 1 vs. Hawaii in Honolulu.

After the UPS game, the Diamond Dawgs return to the road for their first Pac-10 Conference series of the season. Washington will face California (11-10) this Friday through Sunday at Evans Diamond in Berkeley. All three of those games will air live on radio at KKNW AM-1150.
