Huskies Send Four Individuals to Duck Invite

Seattle - Four members of the 24th-ranked Washington men's golf team will compete as individuals March 27-28 at the Duck Invitational in Junction City, Ore. Assistant coach Jon Reehoorn will oversee Zach Bixler, Sterling Clark, Joe Panzeri and Seth Yates at the event, hosted by the University of Oregon, while head coach Matt Thurmond and the other five Washington golfers compete at the National Invitational in Tucson, Ariz.

The Duck Invitational will be played at the par-72, 6,807-yard course at Shadow Hills Country Club, with competition beginning with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. (PT) each morning. The schedule calls for 36 holes of play on Monday and 18 on Tuesday. The team competition, which the Huskies will not be a part of, includes entries from UC Davis, UC Riverside, Idaho State, Nevada, Oregon, Oregon State, Pacific, Portland, San Diego State, Texas-Pan American, Washington State, and Wyoming.
