Pac-10 Announces All-Academic Basketball Teams

Walnut Creek, Calif. - The Stanford men's basketball team had four athletes tabbed to the Pac-10 All-Academic teams.Seniors Chris Hernandez and Dan Grunfeld were honored as first team selections while sophomores Taj Finger and Peter Prowitt received second team honors.

Following are the 2006 Pacific-10 Conference Men's Basketball All-Academic teams, announced today by Commissioner Tom Hansen. To be eligible for selection to the academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade-point average and be either a starter or significant contributor.
