Salute To Rod Dedeaux Tribute Set For Saturday, April 22

LOS ANGELES -- 'Salute To Rod,' a tribute celebrating the life of legendary USC baseball coach Rod Dedeaux, will be held at 12:20 p.m. on Saturday (April 22) at Dedeaux Field, 40 minutes prior to the Trojans' game against Washington.

Dedeaux, who passed away on Jan. 5 at the age of 91, led the Trojans to 11 national championships during his remarkable 45-year tenure at USC (1942-86).

Tickets for the game are $7 for adults and $5 for children, students and senior citizens and can be purchased by calling the USC ticket office at (213) 740-GO SC.

Former USC baseball players are invited to a special reception at Dedeaux Field at 11:30 a.m. prior to the game. Players that have purchased tickets must RSVP for the reception by Tuesday (April 18) at (213) 740-4164.

Parking will be available through Gate 6 off Vermont and 36th Avenues on the west side of the USC campus.
