Bolf and Napp Lead Academic All-Big 12 Team

DALLAS - Seniors Christine Bolf and Sam Napp earned their third appearance on the Academic All-Big 12 First Team, as announced by the conference on Tuesday. Colorado had 15 student-athletes on the first and second teams.

 

Bolf will graduate with a degree in accounting in May. She has been named to the Big 12 Commissioner's List six times. Napp, who owns a grade point average of 3.979, will graduate with a degree in integrated physiology. He has been named to the Dean's List and the Big 12 Commissioner's List all seven semesters at CU.

 

Payton Batliner, Cortney Hutmacher, Mikaela Raddatz, Bret Schoolmeester, Jackie Sturm and Brent Vaughn are making their second appearance on the first team.

 

To qualify student-athletes must maintain a 3.0 grade point average or higher either cumulative or the two previous semesters and must have participated in 60 percent of her team's scheduled contests. Freshmen and transfers are not eligible in their first year of academic residence. Senior student-athletes who have participated for a minimum of two years and meet all the criteria except percent of participation are eligible.

 

Colorado will compete in the 10th annual Big 12 Outdoor Track and Field Championships, May 12-14 at the Hart-Patterson Track & Field Complex on the Baylor University campus in Waco, Texas.
