UCLA Earns No. 2 Seed At Pepperdine Regional

Los Angeles - The UCLA baseball team has earned an at-large berth in the 2006 NCAA Tournament as the No. 2 seed in the Pepperdine Regional in Malibu, Calif. The Bruins will face No. 3-seed UC Irvine in the first round of Regional Championships. Pepperdine earned the site's top-seed and will face fourth-seeded Missouri in the other first-round matchup of the bracket.
UCLA finished the 2006 regular season with a 32-23 overall record and a 13-10 mark in the Pac-10 Conference. The Bruins will make their 12th NCAA Regional Championship appearance in school history.
