Cal's Josh Satin Selected to Play in Cape Cod League All-Star Game

SOUTH YARMOUTH, MASS. - University of California infielder Josh Satin, who will be a junior next spring, has been selected to compete in the Cape Cod League All-Star Game, held Saturday, July 29 at Red Wilson Field in South Yarmouth, Mass. Satin will be a member of the East Division All-Stars after performing well in the first half of the summer for the Orleans Cardinals.

Satin, who was a Collegiate Baseball Freshman All-American in 2005 for the Golden Bears, is currently batting .274 with 10 doubles and 17 RBI for Orleans. He has played in 29 games for the Cardinals, with 16 starts at third base, six starts apiece at first and second base, and one start in the outfield.

At Cal, Satin has a career batting average of .291 with 20 doubles, two triples, seven home runs and 60 RBI in 106 games. As a freshman in `05, he hit .348 with 15 doubles, a triple, five home runs and 40 RBI.
