Cardinal Remains In Fourth At Mason Rudolph Championship

Franklin, Tenn. - The Stanford Women's Golf Team remains in fourth place after two rounds at the Mason Rudolph Women's Championship, trailing leader Duke by 15 strokes. For the second day in a row, Stanford tallied a score of 291 to accumulate a two-round total of 582. Duke shot the best round of the day at 284 to overtake first place (283-284--567), with Georgia now in second (280-294--574) and UCLA still in third place (287-289--576).

Senior Jennifer Tangtiphaiboontana posted Stanford's best round of the day with a three-under 69 (72-69--141) to move into a tie for third place. UCLA's Tiffany Joh (69-69--138) is now tied with Duke's Jennie Lee (71-67--138) for first place after shooting a 69 for the second day in a row. Sophomore Mari Chun (70-74--144) is tied for tenth place, while senior Lauren Todd is tied for 19th with a second round score of 71 (75-71--146). Sophomore Ki-Shui Liao and senior Jenna Seki are tied for 55th after Liao shot a 77 (77-77--154) and Seki recorded an 81 (73-81--154). Senior Saana Rapakko rounded out the squad in 64th with a second round score of 82 (74-82--156).

The Cardinal will wrap up the Mason Randolph Championship with a third round tomorrow at the Vanderbilt Legends Club, beginning at 8:30 am.
