No. 16 Cal Upset by San Diego State, 2-0

BERKELEY - Sixteenth-ranked California lost to San Diego State, 2-0, in a Pac-10 match on Sunday afternoon at Edwards Stadium. Despite outshooting the Aztecs, 18-8, the Golden Bears could not score past goalkeeper Tally Hall, who made 11 saves. Cal's record fell to 6-3-1 (1-1-0 Pac-10, while San Diego State improved to 5-3-1 (1-1-0).
