San Diego State's Goalkeeper Tally Hall Named Pac-10 Men's Soccer Player Of The Week

WALNUT CREEK, Calif.-- SAN DIEGO STATE senior goalkeeper Tally Hall has been named the Pac-10 Men's Soccer Player of the Week for Sept. 19-25, Commissioner Tom Hansen announced today.
Hall, from Gig Harbor, Wash., tied his career-high with 11 saves in San Diego State's 2-0 shutout over No. 16 California on Sunday.
In the match, Hall faced 18 shots on the afternoon, two days after not starting for the first time in 46 games in the Aztecs' match at Stanford. Hall turned away three shots in the first half and eight more in the second with California pressuring for the equalizer. It was Hall's third shutout of the season.
Next up, San Diego State takes on Oregon State on Fri., Sept. 29 and fourth-ranked Washington on Sun., Oct. 1.
This is Hall's first weekly honor and the 2nd all-time award for the Aztecs.
