Noelle Quinn Named To Street & Smith's Terrific 10

UCLA senior guard Noelle Quinn (Los Angeles, Calif./Bishop Montgomery HS) has been named to Street & Smith's 'Terrific 10' list as one of the Top 10 players in the nation.

Quinn averaged 18.1 points and 8.2 rebounds as a junior last season and earned honorable mention All-America and first-team All-Pac-10 acclaim, as well as first-team CoSIDA Academic All-District VIII honors. She was also a mid-season finalist for the Naismith Trophy. She was a Top 20 finalist for the Wooden Award and received honorable mention All-Pac-10 honors in an abbreviated 2004-05 season, and in 2003-04, she set a school freshman record with six consecutive 20-point games and went on to become the Pac-10 Freshman of the Year and a first-team All-Pac-10 honoree. In three seasons, she has earned a conference record-tying eight Pac-10 Player of the Week honors.

She is averaging 17.6 points and 7.8 rebounds in her career, numbers that rank sixth and eighth on the all-time UCLA list. Quinn's career points total of 1,280 ranks 13th in UCLA history, and she is also 15th on the rebounding list with 583 boards. She scored 580 points last season, the most by a Bruin player since 1991-92.

Quinn's career-best single-game totals are 31 points, 15 rebounds, 10 assists, eight steals and three blocks, and she has totaled 21 double-doubles, including one triple-double, in her career.
