No. 10 Cal to Scrimmage Ghana National Team Oct. 10

BERKELEY, Calif. - The 10th-ranked California women's soccer team will host the Ghana women's national team Tuesday, Oct. 10, at 11 a.m. in an exhibition at Edwards Stadium. The teams will scrimmage for two 30-minute halves.

The scrimmage is open to the public, and admission is free.

The Black Queens competed in the 1999 and 2003 Women's World Cups.

The Golden Bears (7-1-2 record) open Pac-10 play in Los Angeles this weekend. Cal faces No. 4 UCLA Friday, Oct. 6, at 7 p.m., and No. 19 USC Sunday, Oct. 8, at 1 p.m. The game against the Bruins can be seen on a tape-delayed basis on Fox Sports Net.
