Mari Chun Leads After First Round At Edean Ihlanfeldt Invite

Sammamish, Wash. - Sophomore Mari Chun leads the pack after one round at the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational, hosted by the University of Washington. The Cardinal sits in fifth after posting a team score of 303 in round one. Arizona State leads the competition with 299, followed by New Mexico and Arizona tied in second with scores of 301. Pepperdine claimed fourth after one round with a score of 302.
Chun fired a 68 in round one to tie her career best. Washington State's Amy Eneroth trails in second place with a 69, with New Mexico's Jodi Ewart in third with a 71.
Stanford senior Jennifer Tangtiphaiboontana shot a 76 to tie for 19th place after one round, followed by fellow senior Lauren Todd in 35th with a 78. Sophomore Ki-Shui Liao and freshman Catherina Wang both recorded a score of 81 in round one to tie for 52nd place.
