WALNUT CREEK, Calif. -- The 2006-07 Pacific-10 Conference basketball television package features 71 men's contests telecast to national and regional audiences, Commissioner Tom Hansen announced today.

The Pac-10 men's basketball package includes 48 games nationally or regionally on FSN, seven nationally or regionally on CBS (including the Pac-10 Tournament championship game), and two regionally on ABC. In addition, Pac-10 teams will make at least 11 appearances on ESPN, ESPN2, or ESPNU, two appearances on CSTV, and one on WGN.

Additional local men's telecasts will be arranged and announced by the institutions. Many of these telecasts arranged by the institutions will be aired on one of several FSN regionals and other regional sports networks in the Pac-10 market (FSN Northwest, FSN Bay Area, Comcast SportsNet, Oregon Sports Network, Beavers Sports Network, FSN Prime and FSN Arizona).

The Pac-10's television exposure tips off for the men on Tuesday, November 14, when STANFORD hosts San Jose State in the first round of the CBE Classic on ESPNU. The first FSN telecast of the season will feature Iowa at ARIZONA STATE on Saturday, November 25.
