Cardinal Men Lead After Two Rounds Of The Prestige

The Stanford men's golf team hold a one shot lead after two rounds at The Prestige golf tournament on the Greg Norman Course at PGA West (par 72, 7,156 yards). The Cardinal shot rounds of 288 and 281 for a total score of 569. UCLA sits one stroke off the lead at 570, followed by UC Irvine (574), Minnesota (580) and UC Davis (588).

Rounding out the top 10 teams are Colorado (595), Kansas (595), California (597), USC (597) and Notre Dame (597).

Leading Stanford today was senior golfer Zack Miller who is currently second overall after carding rounds of 71 and 67 for a six-under par 138. Teammate Matt Savage is tied for fourth overall at three-under par 141 with rounds of 74 and 67. Freshman Joseph Bramlett checks in tied for 10th on the individual leaderboard with an even par 144 (70-74). Cardinal Rob Grube is tied for 27th with a 148 (73-75) while teammate Daniel Lim is tied for 38th with a 150 (77-73).

UC Irvine's Jay Choe leads the individual field by one stroke over Miller with a 137 (70-67).

The final 18 holes will be played tomorrow on the Greg Norman Course.
