WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - The Oregon State trio of wide receiver Sammie Stroughter, linebacker Derrick Doggett and kicker Alexis Serna have been named U.S. Bank Pac-10 Football Players of the Week.

All played key roles in Oregon State's 27-17 upset road victory at Washington.

Stroughter, a junior from Roseville, Calif., had seven receptions for a career-high 223 yards (31.9-yard average), including an 80-yard touchdown reception that proved to be the winning score. The 223 receiving yards is the top performance in the Pac-10 this season and the fourth-highest in Oregon State history. The 80-yard reception is the longest passing play in the Conference this year. The Oregon State offense put up 308 yards passing and 488 yards in total offense.

Doggett, a junior from San Diego, Calif., had a team-high 10 tackles, eight solo, including two tackles for loss (-8) and one quarterback sack (-3) and forced a UW fumble. The Oregon State defense limited Washington to 15 first downs, 256 yards total offense, just 1-of-13 on third-down conversions and posted six quarterback sacks for minus-43 yards.

Serna, a junior from Fontana, Calif., last year's Lou Groza Award winner, connected on two-of-two field goal attempts and all three of his PATs to register nine points. That gave him a career total of 221 points, an Oregon State record for a kicker. The three PATs extended his consecutive PAT streak to 80, which ties the OSU record.

It is only the third time players from the same team have swept all three player of the week honors with the most recent also involving Oregon State. Quarterback Derek Anderson, defensive end Bill Swancutt and Serna were named after an OSU Civil War win against Oregon on November 20, 2004.

Others nominated for offensive player of the week honors were running backs Chris Henry of Arizona, Jonathan Stewart of Oregon, Marshawn Lynch of California and Chauncey Washington of USC. Also nominated on defense were linebacker Zack Follett of California and tackle Marcus Smith of Arizona. Kickers Nick Folk of Arizona and Matt Evenson of Oregon and defensive lineman Nu'u Tafisi of California were nominated for special teams play.
