Women's Basketball to Hold Crimson vs. Gray Scrimmage

PULLMAN, Wash. - The Washington State women's basketball team will hold a Crimson versus Gray scrimmage, Saturday, Oct. 21 at 10 a.m., with a 'Meet and Greet' for fans immediately following in WSU's P.R.O.W.L. Resource Center.

Fans are welcome as the team, led by senior and two-time Pacific-10 Rebounding Champion Kate Benz, tune up with an intersquad scrimmage in the basketball practice facility (PEB 144) in preparation for the 2006-07 campaign.

Following the scrimmage, fans can meet and greet players at the P.R.O.W.L. Center located in PEB 104. Refreshments will be provided as Cougar fans have the opportunity to get acquainted with their 2006-07 women's basketball squad.

The Cougars host Lewis-Clark State Friday, Nov. 3 at 7 p.m. in an exhibition game in Bohler gym and tip off the regular season Nov. 10-12 with a trip to Lexington, Ky., for the 2006 Women's Sports Foundation Classic hosted by Kentucky.
