Washington Women's Golfers Head to Stanford Intercollegiate

Stanford, Calif. - The Washington women's golf team heads to its third of four fall tournaments, the Stanford Intercollegiate, held at the Stanford Golf Course from Oct. 20-22. The Intercollegiate boasts an impressive field of eight top-25 teams, who will play 18 holes each day of the three-day tourney.
Other participating teams are top-ranked Georgia, No. 2 Duke, No. 3 UCLA, No. 6 Stanford, No. 9 Vanderbilt, No. 12 Arizona, No. 15 New Mexico, No. 21 Arkansas, Oregon, Oregon State, San Jose State, Tulsa and Washington State.
Washington's lineup for the event includes senior Amber Prange, junior Kim Shin, senior Amy Wang, sophomore Molly Boyle and freshman Molly Aronsson. Prange is the Huskies' leading scorer, averaging 76.50 through two tournaments.
Last year at the Stanford Intercollegiate, the Huskies finished in 11th place. Paige Mackenzie placed fourth to lead UW.
