TEMPE, Ariz. - The 2006 ASU Men's Tennis Thunderbird Tournament rolled on Saturday afternoon, which by the end of the day left only Sun Devils alive to fight for the title in the main brackets of singles and doubles action. Both Juan Carlos Rebaza and Wes Miller will compete in the singles and doubles final tomorrow against each other. Play resumes tomorrow morning at 9 a.m. at ASU's Whiteman Tennis Center.

In the singles main bracket, four Sun Devils faced off in the semifinal round, which saw Juan Carlos Rebaza top teammate Nick Hegarty in straight sets, 6-4, 6-2 and Wes Miller beat fellow Devil, Matt Brooklyn, 7-6(5), 2-6, 6-3. Rebaza and Miller are set to face off in the singles main draw final tomorrow after the doubles final at 9 a.m.

The Sun Devils fared just as well in doubles as Matt Brooklyn and Wes Miller dropped Arkansas's Jorge Villanueva and Colin Mascall 8-3, while Juan Carlos Rebaza and TJ Bellama teammed up to top ASU's Nick Hegarty and Ryan Waits 8-6.

The 2006 ASU Men's Tennis Thunderbird Tournament will wrap up tomorrow with play starting at 9 a.m. at ASU's Whiteman Tennis Center with the main draw doubles final followed with the main draw singles final and consolation matches.
