Women's Golf To Compete At Las Vegas Founders Collegiate Showdown

SEATTLE - The Washington women's golf team will wrap its fall season at the Las Vegas Founders Collegiate Showdown hosted by UNLV, Mon., Oct. 30 through Wed., Nov. 1.

The 54-hole event will be played at the Anthem Country Club in Henderson, Nev., a par 72 course over 6,150 yards. Joining the Huskies in the tournament field will be Arizona, Arizona State, BYU, Colorado State, Eastern Washington, Kent State, Missouri, Oklahoma State, Oregon State, Pepperdine, TCU, Texas A&M, UC Irvine, UCLA, USC and the host Rebels.

The Huskies' lineup for the three-day tournament will include freshman Molly Aronsson, senior Amber Prange, junior Kim Shin, sophomore Molly Boyle and freshman Christina Yoon. Aronsson was Washington's top individual in its last tournament, finishing in a tie for 13th at the Stanford Intercollegiate.
