SEATTLE -- FSN is the ultimate destination for Husky basketball fans that can't get enough of Lorenzo Romar's young, talented group of players looking to build on the success the program has enjoyed in recent years. For the 2006-07 season, FSN promises to provide fans incredible access to the team with at least 21 live Husky games, several special editions of FSN Live before and after games and the Huskies All Access weekly show featuring Coach Romar.

The 21-game schedule is a combination of local and national FSN telecasts and includes can't-miss games such as the Huskies annual battle versus Gonzaga on Dec. 9 at 8pm; a Dec. 22 contest against the LSU Tigers, a Final Four team in 2006; a New Year's Eve trip to Los Angeles to take on the Pac-10 favorite UCLA Bruins at 2pm; and both games in the home-and-road series against Lute Olson's Arizona Wildcats on Jan. 4 and Feb. 3.

As a result of two conflicts with FSN's Sonics schedule, the network will produce Husky games on Nov. 29 vs. Idaho and Feb. 14 vs. Washington St., but the telecasts will air on Comcast channels throughout the state. Both games can be seen on Comcast channel 17 throughout the greater Seattle area, Comcast channel 14 in Spokane and Comcast channel 76 in Spokane.

FSN's local telecasts feature a new broadcast team with impressive resumes in basketball. The familiar voice of Brian Davis, the host of FSN's Sonics telecasts, will call the play-by-play alongside a new member of the FSN Northwest broadcast team, former Sonics head coach Bob Weiss. Davis has been a part of FSN's extensive package of NBA and Pac-10 games since he arrived at the network in 2004 and Weiss' 40 years in the NBA as a player and coach provides him first-hand knowledge of the game from all perspectives.

Huskies All Access featuring Lorenzo Romar will air Wednesday nights on FSN beginning Dec. 6. With unprecedented access to Coach Romar and his players, FSN gets you inside UW's program for a perspective on the team you can't get anywhere else.

A television partner with the Huskies since 1989, FSN and UW announced in July a new, six-year agreement that provides FSN Northwest the exclusive rights to all event and ancillary programming for the football and men's basketball programs. The partnership resulted in six live football games on FSN in 2006, more than ever before on the network, and now a minimum of 21 live basketball telecasts, also a record schedule for the Husky men's program on FSN.

FSN Northwest is the cable home of the Seattle Mariners, Seattle SuperSonics, Portland Trail Blazers, Seattle Storm, Washington Huskies, Washington State Cougars, Oregon State Beavers and Gonzaga Bulldogs. The region reaches more than 3.4 million cable homes in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and Alaska. FSN reaches more than 81 million homes through its 20 regional sports channels, and serves as the only supplier of national, regional and local sports programming.
