Chloe Kerr Named Pac-10 Player of the Week

Nov. 27, 2006

USC senior center Chloe Kerr set a new career high for herself on Sunday, leading the Trojans in scoring against Nebraska with a 25-point outing to help earn herself honors as this week's Pac-10 Women's Basketball Player of the Week. This is Kerr's first weekly honor from the conference.

In addition to her 25-point career day against the Huskers, Kerr tore down seven rebounds in each game over the weekend. She also added 12 points for USC in its win over Notre Dame, which snapped a seven-game losing streak to the Fighting Irish. Kerr also matched Cheryl Miller's top free-throw shooting mark on Sunday, going 11-for-11 against Nebraska to tie the No. 3 all-time mark for single-game free throw percentage.

Kerr is the first Trojan to win the Pac-10 honor this season.
