Sussex, Brodrogi Pace Trojans On Final Day Of Georgia Fall Invite

Senior Viktor Bodrogi and Sean Sussex each posted wins and a host of Trojans turned in yet more NCAA consideration qualifying times on the final day of the 2006 Georgia Fall Invite in Athens, Ga., on Sunday (Dec. 3).

Sussex won the 100y free in 43.97, an NCAA consideration time he actually bettered in prelims (43.92). Junior Richard Gosper, who became the fourth fastest Trojan ever in the 50y free on Friday, took fourth in the 100y free (44.76).

Bodrogi won the 200y back (1:47.15) with sophomore teammate Vanni Mangoni trailing behind for second (1:47.42).

Senior Larsen Jensen, who won the 200y free on Saturday, took second in the 1650y free in 15:29.24 (NCAA consideration). Brandon Lovell was also second in the 200y fly (1:48.16).

Sophomore Kazu Miyahara led a 2-3-4 finish in the 200y breast with a 1:59.60. He was followed by senior Mihaly Flaskay (2:00.28), who like Miyahara posted an NCAA consideration time, and senior Joon Youm (2:01.52).

The 400y free relay of Gosper, Sussex, Bryce Elser and Gergely Meszaors was second in 2:57.98, an NCAA `B' cut.
