#23 Women's Tennis Travel to Freeman Memorial Women's Tennis Championships

LAS VEGAS, Nev. - The 23rd-ranked Arizona State Women's Tennis Team will head to Las Vegas this weekend to compete in UNLV's Freeman Memorial Women's Tennis Championships Jan 12-14 at the Fertitta Tennis Complex.

The event will showcase eight elite teams including No. 1-ranked Stanford, No. 2 Florida, No. 4 Notre Dame, No. 7 Georgia Tech, No. 15 UCLA, No. 42 Oregon and No. 48 UNLV.

Action begins at 9:30 a.m. PST on Friday and Saturday and the finals are scheduled for Sunday, with times to be determined. The event features two flights each of both singles and doubles along with consolation rounds.

The doubles field will feature three top-30 teams, including the eighth-ranked duo of Kady Pooler and Roxanne Clarke coming off an All-American Championship win this fall, the first in ASU's program history, as they enter into this weekend with the top doubles seeding.

After the Freeman Memorial Championship, the Sun Devils return home to kick off regular season dual action next weekend as they host UC Davis on Saturday, January 20 at 11 a.m. at ASU's Whiteman Tennis Center.
